One of the things I pride myself on is knowing fabrics and materials, and knowing what makes a fabric look and feel valuable. I can take a hole in the wall clothing store with a lower end price point and come out with gold. This outfit is one example of this. I have a trained eye for fabrics Starting with my uncle, reesesherman.com who at the time was styling for celebs. He taught me that it's not always about the price of a garment but about the fit and way its made. That followed with training from the Art Institute of Hollywood. Once you learn these skills and gain a true understanding that it's not about the price but about the feel of the fabric, shopping will never be the same.
I styled this outfit from one of my favorite hole in the wall stores and it is a great find. Very affordable but still feels and looks pricey. This long sleek trouser pant is sooo comfortable with a stretch fit that hugs your curves. The top is well made with a Mozart inspired embellishment on the front of the bodice with a long sleeve cuff to wrist cut. Head to toe affordable head to valuable.
